Purchase options and add-ons

In this shocking, and at times darkly comic, novel, a psychiatrist hired to write a short piece on Francis Bacon becomes obsessed with the artist, his life, and the characters who surrounded him.

As he become consumed with the need to understand Bacon, and to create his own art, his grip on reality becomes increasingly tenuous, and he is haunted by disturbing figures.

This short, bold piece of fiction, explores how the passion needed to create art can also destroy the artist.

5.0 out of 5 stars Visceral mind twisting text

Amazing if you have a strong stomach. Twisting and turning Tade and Francis Bacons life. How far do we go for art ? How do we understand the art of others? It will shock and sicken. Not for children or sensitive adults

4.0 out of 5 stars Recherche in den Irrsinn - in mehrererlei Hinsicht
Reviewed in Germany on August 5, 2023

A Cleverly crafted decent into mental illness that hooks the reader from the moment you open the cover.

Leaves the reader feeling uncomfortable and wanting more, then the reveal of why this has happened and you feel uncomfortable again because this could happen to any of us

Thanks Tade Thompson for a great read
