About the Author
Robert McCloskey (1914-2003) wrote and illustrated some of the most honored and enduring children's books ever published. Lovely story, and relatable if you’ve been to Boston!

Like many reviewers... I bought this book after a trip to Boston with my husband. I thought it would be a nice memento for our five year old daughter. I saw the book in a shop in Boston, but it’s quite big so I ordered it from Amazon UK whilst sat having a coffee in Ziggy’s cafe which is opposite Boston Common! I knew having seen it that it had no colour pictures but, the illustrations are so good, that I don’t think they’re hugely missed. My daughter loved the story, and I showed her my photos of the statue of the ducks in the Boston Public Garden which made it relevant! Great story for little ones and parents alike!

Boa estória. Para ensinar valores também.

Boa estoira! Meu filho de 2,5 anos gostou muito. Talvez ficaria melhor se fosse colorido mas, ao mesmo tempo termina dando variedade nos estilos da sua biblioteca.
