Pelé: The Autobiography
by Pele
The autobiography of Brazilian sports icon Edson Arantes do Nascimento (1940-2022), better known as Pelé and one of the greatest footballers of all time. The book is written in a straightforward, direct way. He was born to a poor family in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais and he opens the book talking of playing football with a ball made of socks. His father, too, was a professional footballer.
