She translates contemporary German writers, including Inka Parei, Judith Hermann and Clemens Meyer, with whom she has been twice nominated for the International Booker Prize. Katy co-hosts a monthly translation lab and the live performance series and podcast Dead Ladies Show. She also practices slow publishing at V&Q Books.
