Selina Hastings is a writer and journalist. She is the author of four literary biographies, of Evelyn Waugh, Nancy Mitford, Somerset Maugham and Rosamond Lehmann. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, she reviews regularly and has been a judge of the Booker Prize. In 2011 she won the Biographers’ Club Lifetime Services to Biography Prize
