Ma Jian
Ma Jian is a Chinese-born author. His novels include Beijing Coma, set during the Tiananmen square protests of 1989, and The Noodle Maker. In 2011, he was banned from re-entry into China. He lives in London with his wife, who is also his translator, and four children
