At the next meeting of our Italian Book Club, we’ll be talking about Italo Calvino’s The Path to the Spiders’ Nests.
We are fortunate that the discussion will be led by the wonderful Nicoletta Simborowski, of Oxford’s Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, who has herself translated many works of Italian literature into English.
We’ll be meeting at 6.30pm on Monday, July 3rd, in the cafe at Waterstones Oxford (on the second floor).
For those who haven’t attended before, the Five Books/Waterstones Italian Book Club meets (generally) on the first Monday of every month in Oxford.
For anyone wishing to prepare for our August meeting, our book of choice is Alberto Moravia’s Agostino.
