Christine L. Corton worked for many years in publishing houses including Hamish Hamilton and Penguin, and was Production Director at Boxtree Books. She has been a Senior Member of Wolfson College since 2010. She gained her doctorate from the University of Kent in 2010 on ‘London Fog as a Cultural Metaphor in Victorian and Edwardian Literature’. Her book, London Fog: The Biography was published this year by Harvard University Press.
