Etgar Keret is an Israeli writer and filmmaker and a professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His books have been published in more than four dozen languages and a number of award-winning short movies and feature films have also been based on his stories. His most recent collection, Fly Already, won the 2018 Sapir Prize—Israel’s most prestigious literary award—as well as a National Jewish Book Award.
