Jennifer Steil is a writer, journalist and actor currently living in Bolivia. She has worked for several newspapers, both in America and abroad, while continuing to perform in theatres. Her memoir about running a newspaper in Yemen, The Woman Who Fell From the Sky, was published by Doubleday in 2010 and included in the National Geographic Traveler recommended reading list. Her novel, The Ambassador's Wife, won the 2013 William Faulkner-William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition Best Novel award and will be published in the spring of 2015.
