Peg Tyre is a writer who has spent two decades in journalism, including at Newsweek and The New York Times. She was part of a group of reporters who won a Pulitzer prize and she was twice nominated for a National Magazine Award. A graduate of Brown University, her bestselling first book The Trouble with Boys won the Books for a Better Life award in 2009. She teaches a course on “covering education” at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
