Remember to Remember

This was written in 1947 and it’s basically a very funny but also bitter denunciation of everything that Miller thinks is wrong with America then. He says it’s a sad place: the country with the greatest advantages but with so little to show for it. Then things take a turn, and he says, well, you know, maybe things have to get really terrible in order to get people to the point where they will turn around and do something about it,
