For the next meeting of our Italian book club, we’ll be reading some Alberto Moravia. As it seemed to be the easiest one to get hold of at Waterstones, we’ve chosen Agostino.
We’ll be meeting at 6.30pm on Monday, August 7th, in the cafe at Waterstones Oxford (on the second floor).
For those who haven’t attended before, the Five Books/Waterstones Italian Book Club meets (generally) on the first Monday of every month in Oxford.
For those who are away in August and want to prepare for the September meeting, we’ve selected Leonardo Sciascia’s The Day of the Owl (1961), a crime novel set in Sicily.
Perfect summer reading?
Enjoy the holidays!
