“I love the idea of a retelling that makes it easier to read. Frankenstein is an important book, it’s the granddaddy of science fiction horror. But it is an old book and it is quite difficult to read with modern eyes and the language can feel a bit old-fashioned. Obviously, it’s not written for young readers but everybody has heard the name Frankenstein, and all the kids know what it is, so I think it’s good for them to have the opportunity to read it.” Read more...
